Language Development, Equivalence and Language Teaching (EN 423B/434B) - Emphasizes didactics, assessment, self-assessment, and alternative assessment for the teaching of English for grades K-6.
 
Texts, Communication and Language Knowledge (EN 431B) - Focuses on the development of English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation skills and pedagogy that aligns with the Swedish national curriculum for grade 4-6.
 
Language Development and Language Teaching (EN 403C/407C/414C) - Introduces theories and educational movements for language teaching, analysis of learner texts, and lesson planning for second semester pre-service teachers preparing to teach at the secondary (grades 7/9) and upper secondary levels (grades 10-12) with English as their first, second or third subject of specialization.
 
Text, Culture, and Language (EN 424C) - Overview of sociolinguistic factors affecting language learning and use including gender, class, region and ethnicity with an emphasis on corpus-based research and the writing of an annotated bibliography.
 
Degree Project - Supervision and examination of undergraduate bachelor theses for students specializing in teaching English at the secondary (grades 7/9) and upper secondary levels (grades 10-12).
 
Student Teaching Supervision (VFU) - Mentoring and classroom observation of student teaching by second and fourth semester students specializing in teaching English at the secondary (grades 7/9) and upper secondary levels (grades 10-12).

Language, Text & Culture (EN 402C) - Explores the teaching of literature and creative writing at the secondary level to foster both language and literary learning. A major component of this course was The Blogging Hobbit, a collaborative fanfiction writing project that used a task-based language teaching approach (TBLT) to support the development of both literary and linguistic competence. This course was also partnered with classes at the University of León (Spain) and Tel Aviv University (Israel) as part of the Innovation in Teaching online international exchange.
 
Communication and Language Knowledge (EN 421B) - Introduces pre/services Kindergarten to grade 3 teachers to theories of language development and different types of texts for the purpose of teaching English in accordance to the Swedish national curriculum in the early grades.
 
English for Teachers (1-6) (KS 246F) - Course for in-service grades 1-6 teachers that emphasizes the teaching of English grammar, pronunciation and words and phrases in accordance with the Swedish national curriculum.
 
Independent Project (LL 204G) - Supervision and examination of undergraduate research syntheses for students specializing in teaching English.
 
Degree Project - Supervision and examination of undergraduate bachelor theses for students specializing in teaching English at the secondary (grades 7/9) and upper secondary levels (grades 10-12).
